Alan interviews Jaguar Land Rover’s Electrical Chief Engineer for Programs and Integration, Stewart Moore, after test driving the Range Rover in rugged Utah. Alan had it on and off road and its capabilities really showed off on these difficult roads. It was the first aluminum SUV in the world and it is the lightest it can get as well as the strength and rigidity help with the driving dynamic. Range Rovers can wade to a depth to 900 millimeters and they made sure any of the sensitive technology was located above that on the car. Range Rover invented terrain response in 2004 and they enhanced it further by adding an automatic mode so the car choose which will be most effective to get you to where you want to go.
